St Patrick's Dance - 15 March 2025

The Renoufs - 8 March 2025
Today sixty six of us thoroughly enjoyed our Entertainment Afternoon with Stephanie and Mark Renouf. Steph plays a grand piano – they bring it with them. I won’t tell you how they do that, you’ll just have to come along next time they’re at the Club and watch – it’s amazing!! Mark plays a bass. They are both top musicians, but, together they sing and play a fantastic variety of numbers. We went from Rock n Roll, to love songs, to musicals, to honky tonk – a huge variety!! It was a great day. I have to thank Dianne and Joan for preparing all the afternoon teas. It’s a lot of work goes into them – Dianne plans to make the best use of your $5 entry fee. That $5 pays for the afternoon tea, whilst the Club pays for the entertainers – just another way of getting money back to our members. Keith President

Manhattan Lunch - 20 January 2025
We had our Manhattan luncheon today with 83 members enjoying a really good smorgasbord. It was heavily discounted by the Club, so it was cheap, and, it was a very social day. I think we had tables from almost every Club activity. Lots of chatting and laughter, and no one was in a hurry to leave – and the food was good!

A tribute to Gwen
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas and our craft group has been busy making cards for the festive season. We have had a lovely year again meeting one another on the third Wednesday of each month with Gwen and wish to thank her for all her help, time and effort that she has put in for us. We celebrated our last session together by bringing and sharing a lovely lunch to conclude this year’s activities. Christina Newton
